Which running shoes should you buy in Egypt?

What to spend on running shoes in Egypt
Entry level: under EGP 3,500
At this level, a basic daily trainer. Check the fit and the cushioning, and replace them every 500 to 800 km.
Mid range: EGP 3,500 to EGP 7,000
The sweet spot: a good daily trainer or stability shoe from a known running brand.
Upper range: EGP 7,000 to EGP 13,000
You get better foams, plates and lighter uppers. Worth it for regular running or racing.
Premium: EGP 13,000 and more
Premium means carbon-plated race shoes. Only go here for race day and fast sessions.
The types of running shoes, explained
Daily trainer
A cushioned, balanced shoe for most runs, from easy miles to steady efforts.
Good: Comfortable for most runs; Durable; Good value. Watch for: Heavier than racers; Less fast feel; Not for race day.
Stability running shoe
A shoe with extra support for feet that roll inward or need more guidance.
Good: Extra guidance and support; Comfortable for many runners; Good for long runs. Watch for: Heavier; Firmer feel on some; Not needed by everyone.
Racing shoe
A light, fast shoe, often with a carbon plate, built for race day and speed work.
Good: Very light and fast; Responsive; Great for racing. Watch for: Costs a lot; Wears out faster; Less cushioned for easy runs.
Trail running shoe
A shoe with grip and protection for trails, mud and rocks.
Good: Strong grip; Protective; Built for rough ground. Watch for: Heavier on roads; Stiffer; Wears faster on tarmac.

When running shoes get cheaper in Egypt
The next big sales are 11.11 Singles' Day (in 20 days), White Friday (in 36 days). If you can wait until 11.11 Singles' Day (11 November 2026), a better price is more likely than today. If you need it now, compare at least three shops first.
Your rights when buying in Egypt
Egypt's Consumer Protection Law generally gives you 14 days to return a product bought from a seller. Check the shop's own policy, because some items are excluded.
